“Seeing it in movies and hearing about it in songs, those feelings of longing and desire, your head filled with dreams of what could be, and all those romantic notions seemingly unattainable in reality and then... suddenly, last summer. ”
This piece was commissioned by a collector as a gift to his partner. He wanted the scene to commemorate a trip they had taken to a lake in Sweden, as it was the first time they were able to be openly out together since they had been keeping their relationship a secret from their families.
