Dad's Night Out
“He’s doing all the right things, dutiful, responsible, respectable and even keeping up with the Jones. But when it’s time for Dad’s Night Out...anything goes.”
Ideas for paintings come at me at random. Some fade away, and some quickly come to life on the drawing board. Others need time to marinate, or align with “my mood and the stars.” When an idea is associated with a place or person that I can pin down to a time, I’m sometimes surprised just how long that idea has been living in my head, literally years.
