The term Russian winter is often used to describe situations of prolonged dreariness, bitter cold, and extreme hardship. And yet, people endure. Within themselves they discover a secret strength. Or perhaps there is some reward that makes it all worthwhile, like bracing the snow and winter winds just to share a warming kiss.

With recent banning of gay pride parades in Russian cities and a proposed law banning gay propaganda and public behavior I was inspired to do this little piece in protest of such ignorance and bigotry.
