“The Olympics are not only a showcase for the best of today’s athletes. They also put the beauty and culture of the host country centerstage. Born from catastropic destruction, Santorini possesses a beauty that evokes awe and demands respect.”
I had been wanting to work on something with regards to the Olympic games in Athens this year (2004), without focusing on the actual game events. That got me thinking about the incredible beauty of the region, and how its breathtaking views would compliment those provided by the many gorgeous athletes.
