“Unbound by even a skimpy swimsuit, the warm water caressing every inch of skin. Muscles move and flow in the liquid environment achieving an equilibrium, becoming one with the body of water.”
Much of my work is focused on the figure, so in confines of 18x24 inch paper fitting in a body or multiple bodies requires the faces to typically be about an inch and a half to maybe 4 inches. It is a nice change of pace to do a large face and explore all the details such as the iris of the eye, eyelashes, philtrum, vermillion border etc.
